USA/Canada Delivery Thread

I'm voting for an English Tea of the month club.

The dealer did email me asking for my latest address so its something cheap to mail probably.

Obligatory question: you checked all of your spam / junk / promotions folders?
That is exactly where the email I received ended up, and my delivery is a year out to boot..

So……is the race officially on as to who gets the first U.S. delivery? And will they be an FE 1.0 depositor or a 2.0 where the deposit was made last spring?

I know it wont be me. Plenty of people that live close to their dealerships. Would be funny AF if the first one delivered is a 2.0!

If a 2.0 gets delivered before a 1.0 I'm gonna laugh.

It's 100% going to happen. There are stacks of FE 2.0s sitting ready at dealers all over the country, and I can't get a VIN or status from my dealer on my FE 1.0 which I've had on order since early July of 2021.

First with a 1st Edition?
It's more a question of 'from which dealer/state?'
Followed by who is first to appear on YouTube or post in this Forum.
One thing for sure, the floodgates will open.
Soon!

Lotus SHOULD be smart about this and use the delays as build up. Find some of their more "well heeled" customers and get them to do a Chevy style charity auction for the first US Emira at Barrett Jackson or somewhere. Have all the NA car magazines\media there.
Just do something to get that July 2021 excitement back.

They don't need more excitement, they have order books to produce for years to come already. Once cars get into the hands of regular people, it will likely only induce more demand for future orders.
