USA/Canada Delivery Thread

Hey....I take offence to that!! :ROFLMAO:. Great looking car. Mine is stranded there now until tomorrow in the rain
Shane told me you flew in with I assume in your thumbnail/avatar plane……. pretty cool and in style👍 saw your’s, beautiful as well!

Generally pickup experience at Lotus Cape Fear was excellent, Shane H and Cameron took their time to go over car details, did a test drive, followed most of brainf18 checklist😉, Cameron eyes opened wide when I pulled that large sheet out, but passed with flying colors👍.

The finance manager Brian was professional as well, tried to sell extended warranty and rim insurance, but was not pushy after I declined, so all good…..they have to sell their products…….

Yep I flew in to make an event out of the purchase! I thought about bringing the checklist but worried what they would think when I pulled it out!

Agree on Brian - I declined all additional services as well (I always feel guilty), but he didn't push at all and said it was good practice to go through it with me as a guinea pig.

The car looked to be all sorted and Shane assured me they went it through it several times to ensure everything was up to par. Glad your car passed the checklist and hopefully you'll get to enjoy it on Sunday after the rain.

What is the checklist? I'll be taking delivery from LCF in the near future as well.

Collected mine yesterday from Lotus of Austin. Some gymnastics necessary.

C & D is sport vs. Touring right?

How can you tell they’re CDN?

This could be the 60ish FE 1.0s that Canada got which were set to ship when Canada got the EPA approval about 2 weeks ago…

They’re expected to reach the dealership end of next week so makes sense…

...great work and thank you, but 😭 for me.

Back to Raleigh from Wilmington with this beauty. I was SO happy with the spec immediately once I saw it in person. The 2 hour drive home was fantastic. At my first stop at a gas station at least 5 people stopped and stared. The young lady at the register said, "we don't see many cars like that 'round here." I can't describe how stunning it is in real life. This car is gonna be a blast.

I did find Sport suspension to be a bit more bumpy than I expected on I-40 from Wilmington to Raleigh but need more time with it and other roads to assess. Of course on a highway Touring is likely to be better but I haven't had a chance yet to push it through any tight turns.

EDIT: Shane and Shane and Brian (Biz Mgr) from Cape Fear were all a pleasure to work with. It was a great overall experience.

Yay! It’s great to see you taking delivery today! Now there are at least 2 Emiras in Raleigh! We’ll have to meet up soon and compare notes! 🙂
