USA/Canada Delivery Thread

Mine is an i4, #4613, west coast (Idaho) delivery. I asked my dealer if he had any info and again said he'll need to talk with someone else at the dealership and get back to me. Just crickets from him.

At this point I am thinking it will be March 2025. The fact that they haven't started shipping i4s to the States yet, AND I am west coast, AND CARB cert is still TBD, I'm just tired of getting my hopes up so need to mentally push the date out beyond what is logically reasonable.

Hindsight I should have just bought a boat. :)

My dealer saying early to mid November. This estimate began September, got told October, now November.

Not sure if its believable.

i4 or V6? If i4 they still have to wait for the EO from CARB which should have happened by now. If a V6 then probably sooner rather than later.

Does anyone know what the rough port-to-dealer timeline is for west coast?
Apologies - I didn't phrase my question properly. I meant to ask: for people who have taken deliveries, how long did it take for the car to reach the dealership from the time it landed in Baltimore?

Another small shipment of US and Canadian cars arrived on 10/12/2024. Still just V6 cars. No I4. Click on the image below to see the VINs:

Appreciate the updates. I4’s have to be soon…..

Yea, that’s not your dealers fault…..you’re at the speed of California bureaucracy. I can tell you that posters on another thread have been told Spring 2025 for their FE i4’s. These are folks in the NE.
I don't care whether you are conservative or liberal, you should still be fired up about this...

CARB is a perfect example of why people hate the government. CARB has absolutely zero priority to their actual mission statement of certifying vehicles. This is proven with their complete disregard for schedule regarding the Emira (and I'm sure many other models). And take a look at CARB's website...they have THIRTEEN ARTICLES about DEI (including in Spanish), plus flow charts and graphics about how they are addressing systemic racism. Imagine how much they could get done if they took these same resources and put them toward their actual purpose of vehicle certification.

I love this excerpt from their site, "CARB has committed to increased accountability by communicating what we are doing to advance racial equity and address environmental justice with the public and the CARB Board."

I would have thought recommitting to increased accountability on certifying cars would be a better statement, but I'm just an ignorant conservative from Idaho.
