What did you do to your Emira today?

The AliExpress Emira door illumination logo is a new addition. Before I solved my difficulty buying it from Taobao due to the language challenge, I contacted the same AliExpress vendor, to ask if they could make the Emira vehicle shape/name logo, sent them a photo of the Taobao one, and pointed out its US$30 price. They replied saying they’d match the Taobao design, but not the price. I asked they LMK once the design was integrated in the door light. They asked I pay in full up-front. I suggested I’d pay half up front and the rest once they satisfied me, they’d been able to match the design. They then again asked I pay all up front. I didn’t bite. About a week later they messaged me on AliExpress, providing the link in the post above to their newly designed (for them) Emira logo.

Anyone buying from them will hopefully post a review of the seller and the logo ground light, on the Forum.

I bought the second one linked in my previous post (Lotus logo) in early December. No issues with the seller and they arrived in California from China in about 8 days.

They fit perfect. They are very bright (almost too bright) and easy to adjust the position of the logo. This picture was taken in my garage with very bright fluorescent lights overhead.

Got a new DJI mini pro 4 and took some shots with it. What an amazing little drone.


Life’s too short to not drive the darn thing. I just wash it it, including the undercarriage when I get home

And you do not need to remove the door panel as others have said. The old lights will pop out with a trim removal tool.

Swapped to RB XT970 pads and Motul RBF660 today. These are the stock pads after 4k kms and 1 trackday

Good and nearly bad day today.
Went for a 150 mile drive today, just for the hell of it. Early'ish morning start to avoid the traffic, had a lovely drive along part of the south UK coast.
Nearly bad, as I was coming to end of the outbound leg of the drive, nearly had a head on with some idiot in a Merc, who decided to overtake 2 cars and an Artic on a blind corner. We both slammed our breaks on and by the time we came to a stop there was about 12-18" between front bumpers. He couldnt cut back into his lane, as the Artic also breaked and I had nowhere to go, as it was all hill on my side of the road.
Spoilt the rest of the drive and I came home very slowly. Makes you realise, your mortality is not just in your hands.
Most annoying thing about it all, he didnt give a damn. Just pulled in behind the Artic and then waved as I drove past.

Aw man, those window spots are so annoying right? I always get done detailing and hop inside then that's all I can see in my rear view mirror. They're such a PITA to reach from the engine bay side too.

Somehow we struggle through the days......
