Yeah I think they will do around 300 cars in the next two months as there is finally proper activity at Hethal, a few May well slip into January but the truth is we will never know most of them will be off the radar.

As for Leonard’s watch I’d never get away with it in London now days with all the hood rats on mopeds trying to steel them lol

As for faith in them have you read my posts ? I’m actually now a quivering broken wreck due to just about getting to my delivery month only to find out my car is potentially months away. It’s November on Tuesday and still no official update.

Definitely the worst car buying experience of my life and it’s far from being over.

So, email from LCS yesterday assuring me that the cancellation vehicle order I took on is in production and the goal is for November delivery. They will confirm by the end of the week, kind of expecting it to have slipped given the recent update.

So just been told the cancelled order I picked up, on a promise of November delivery, is now a January delivery as per so many others. Had to chase for the update as the CS Rep assumed I'd had the phone call, I hadn't.

I asked if given the delay I would be able to change the calliper colour, and they have said this is in discussion in the factory, so it's a possibility, but being a glass half empty I'm going to hazard a guess that this won't happen.

I also enquired as to delivery expectation should I revert to my original spec and have been told this would be late 2023, possibly even 2024, needless to say I'll live with the red callipers.....

It's relatively easy to repaint callipers but you have to have the car to do it.......this is Zen Lotus in action......soon doesn't do it......this is Reality Lotus. As you may tell, I'm suffering from Lotusfobia.

I’m same situation November moved back to January and it was a definite No to change calliper colour or even remove tracker - absolute shit customer service - should of just stayed with my original order as in essence certainly haven’t got the car as sooner July January. I’m actually mulling over changing to I4 ( change spec ) and get something else in the meantime

It may have something to do with the lead times they're getting from their suppliers. It doesn't seem like Lotus has any stock on hand. They're ordering from the supplier based on the customer order, and the supplier(s) are making things as ordered, so changing the order would affect the supplier and what they're able to deliver more than anything else. If Lotus had a supply of parts on hand, I'm sure it wouldn't be an issue to change something on an order, but it doesn't seem like they do, so it looks like changes are a problem for them at the present time.

Just received an email from LCS. Sa you in gas a priority customer (pre-reveal) I have now been told that I have been delayed yet again. Production is destined for April 2023. So guess it won’t be delivered till Nay/June - if that.

So that’s another driving year missed. So guess what I will be doing

Deposit 12th July '21, originally had a bunch of dates earlier in the year, Aug, Sep, Oct, Nov for delivery, and now Feb build. As long as it can get PDI'd with a march (23) reg I'll be happy. Should mean I get to collect just before my birthday
