Not received an updated email yet. Last information received was November build December delivery, originally February build March delivery, this from a 5th October 2019 deposit. Patience waring very thin now.

the admission was in the Australian letter.. but no real explanation... you would think they would have put a reason on it.. but maybe dont want to give the blame to any specific supplier...so as to not make the other guys look bad

So why are the manuals been shifted right back ???? or r UK being further and further deprioritised - this is now a complete shambles from one day to next a move of another 3 months on top of all the previous delays what a shit show

Maybe the i4 is actually going to be ready for Q2 UK production and they’re slotting those back into the queue in deposit date order (no i4 email yet though - 8th July Goodwood deposit)

I suspect they are making a window to build for another market, or the second shift is not going to happen now. Either way there will be a lot of cancelled uk orders. Mine being one of them.

Someone did mention earlier on another thread about Wuhan still being in lock Down - I wonder if parts from that part of the world have now dried up?

I literally spoke to guy yesterday and he said mine would be Jan moved from this month. He said 250 of 300 will be delivered this year then 50 in Jan?

It seems that quite a few on this forum have been told the same. If this does come to pass, and seeing is believing with Lotus having 2 weeks off for Christmas, it is going to be a very busy December at Hethel and Upper Heyford to get all these cars out.

Having watched an interview with Matt Windle, he said that component costs and transport cost have gone up. Given that in the update email in June, in front of the so called first customer car, he did say the price we signed up for would be honoured. Does anyone else think that all these delays, and sending cars to Australia when we were told right hand drive cars could not be built through parts shortages. Is it away of pissing early deposit holders off so they cancel their orders, as these cars are now on very small margins or losing money, before a price increase in the not to distant future.

It’s a good point that did cross my mind. To even be in a position where we are thinking that is possible shows how badly we have been treated. A lot worse going on in the world granted.
Wish I never told anyone I had ordered one , gets embarrassing trying to explain.

With their costs going through the roof, perhaps they are concentrating on getting cars delivered to markets where their margins are higher?
What would I know, ordered July 2021 don't know when I will be receiving mine here in NZ.

That crossed my mind earlier it’s like they are doing everything possible to piss us all off - like they want us to cancel
