Lotus have updated their website today to 6.9%

☹️

What a Joke cheers Matt for your promise about the price quoted is the price we pay.
Lotus finance just lost me as a customer, absolutely fuming is an understatement.

WHAT THE F*** NEXT

Still seeing 5.9%

Hopefully Magnitude or similar will pick it up

I know not everybody fits in the same catagory, but you should already have a credit union/bank/service setup to get a loan at a very low rate. I have used LightStream (not affiliated at all) multiple times, one for my Elise and some other high end vehicles. I plan on using them again. I can get around 4% through them becuase I am a loyal customer. I finance for a 12 months and pay them off.

With the Emira Ill put around 40k down and then finance because I don't want such a debt burden.

Here's a radical idea - correct the typo, and still send the email today?? Don't tell me, the typo-correction department has Friday's off.
They may have said typo but meant error.
The best way to cover a silly error is call it Eratta (list of errors).
That itself sounds like a Lotus model.
The 2023 Eratta.

Firstly, I’m a new member and have enjoyed reading the many conversations between you all for months now and thank you for keeping us all informed.

My Emira was due in the first run having paid my deposit very early - delivery expected June, then July and no different to many of you. I would often keep an eye on this forum to see if there was any news, had anyone been contacted so I could expect a call from Lotus.

I couldn’t hold out any more and I called lotus yesterday and asked for some delivery news on my car… If I was an early build surely I should have an update by now with a delivery date.

After all the apologies I was told an email with a general update was scheduled to go out today (Friday) but because of a typo it had been delayed to early next week… however it was confirmed my build slot was now pushed to August for delivery in September!!! Ultimately a further 2 month delay and I was in the first wave of cars being built.

I’m gutted but obviously nothing you can do but I wish Lotus would have called me to tell me that. Personal updates would be the way to go now in my opinion.

I also have my driving day booked for August 3rd and was told this wouldn’t be cancelled but the cars available wouldn’t be the final build cars… but very close to final build.

Just an update from me and hope that’s helpful to some - wish it was a bit more positive (I was still holding out for a July, early August delivery) but end of September was advised probably meaning October.
I’m also booked for the LDA at the start of August. If the cars aren’t dynamically up to production spec then they shouldn’t be running this. Looking at the reviews so far there seems to be a good bit of inconsistency between the cars so hopefully this is sorted out before the LDA as buying decisions will be based on these cars for many.

Apparently, July build orders will get an email next week according to CS. September is confirmed as the build date. I assume, like most car factories, August will encompass a Summer shutdown.
