U.S. Update: Allocation & Order Date

Update from me. Order placed today for a Magma Red with extended black pack,V6 Manual, black alcantara with red stiching, alcantara steering wheel, black calipers, diamond cut ultra wheels, no privacy glass. I opted to NOT get the Sentry tracking system, since EVORA has had battery issues and I didn't want any other battery drain from the car when not in use since it won't be my daily. My MSRP is $95830.

Of note, I was number 4 (!) at Boardwalk in the Bay Area, and 11 come on the first shipment. They got a total allocation of 40. Estimated delivery date is Oct 2022. Of the 6 orders submitted, 6 were Magma Red. Both Tom and Kyle ordered Verdant Green for their personal vehicles.

Also, fyi, you have 10 days from when you confirm your submitted order to change it. Boardwalk is selling those of us with orders at MSRP but if I give up my order, they will sell my order at 20k markup.

Nimbus Gray, Tan. Red Calipers, Silver wheels, Touring, but that could change. Still a week plus to make a change before I am locked in.

That was close to one of my configurations, except I went with yellow calipers.

If I decided to go with Seneca blue do you guys think tan interior would go with the blue exterior?

Blockbuster email I just received from Galpin Lotus in LA. I won't bury the lead here. At the end he states that Lotus has confirmed they will be able to honor ALL 200+ of their orders by Q2 2023 which has me thinking I may have a shot at a V6 FE if I want to move off of having thought about the i4 FE this whole time...... I imagine honoring the orders means having started production so likely if I stick with the i4 FE I'm looking at delivery Q4 of 2023 at the earliest. Butterflies finally again with some good news (since I don't mind the wait)

The entire Galpin Lotus team would like to thank you for your patience and understanding through the Emira ordering process.

Galpin Lotus is excited to start the first steps towards delivering your new Lotus Emira!

Emira First Edition's are going to be built in a limited quantity. First Edition slots will be offered in the order the deposit was received. The V6 First Edition will be the first to arrive and start delivery in October of 2022 the I4 First Edition will start delivery in Q4 of 2023.

Your Galpin Lotus Specialist will start to reach out to confirm your power train option and your allocation slot starting today Monday February 7. Orders for V6 First Edition will be submitted to Lotus starting March first. We will have until the 20th of each month to submit orders. Once submitted no other changes can be made.

The orders are time sensitive and any build not received by the due date will be forfeited and passed onto the next person in line.

Best news of it all...because we were one of the top Lotus dealers in the world, Lotus has promised to deliver all of our 200+ orders before the end of Q2 of 2023!

We are excited for the future and thank you for being the best part of it!

As more information becomes available to us, we will share it with you. In addition, we will be following up with you to finalize your order with Galpin Lotus.

Interesting. I have a deposit at Galpin and haven’t received any communication like this. The last thing I got from them was a much more generic “thanks for your patience while we work out the details” update late in January.

Exciting news. Yesterday I was informed by my dealer Gator Motorsport that they have received an allocation for me and I can submit my order this coming April. Delivery is scheduled for Nov '22-Jan '23. Delivery date will be confirmed once my order is placed. Sweet baby Yoda!!

My configuration Code has been submitted to Lotus and I received a submission ID# from Lotus today. At this point Lotus is verifying my deposit and will send me an approval or denial email soon. All orders are final at the end of business on the 20th of each month at which point they are locked-In at MSRP less destination fee & taxes.

A few key points

Gator Motorsport: My experience with my dealer has been phenomenal. Great communication, they've proven to be highly transparent, they respond quickly with accurate information, they've been fair to each deposit holder with respect to the allocations & slots, and I would strongly recommend them without hesitation to my closest friends and family members. Highly professional, very honest. 4.9 stars (they'll get 5 when the Emira arrives )

Lotus Cars

In total I think I've received 5 or 6 official communications from Lotus directly. They've been timely (according to production schedule) and very prompt as per my specific deposit/allocation/order submission/verification process. Nothing but glowing reviews from where I sit. This has been really smooth and effortless really. I've had a lot of fun with the process and it's given me plenty of time to go back and forth on the configurator to really dial in my spec and make sure I had it perfect before I submitted it.

Congratulations to all the other buyers who submitted orders this month. Its an exciting time. I'm looking forward to helping to organize a Lotus Cars & Coffee once the Emira arrives.

Congrats! Very exciting and encouraging update. Hoping to be doing the same sometime this summer! Would love to see it if you ever make it up to Raleigh!

How bad is it that most of us can actually translate those acronyms without much difficulty? We're obsessed!!!

Considering I've clocked ~5k/yr on my daily driver these past few, I'll be lucky to get 2k on the Emira! Hopefully a lot of that will be on the track though!!
