USA/Canada Delivery Thread

60 days from build to US Port seems a long time. Did they mean from build to delivery?

My F80 euro delivery to Hawthorne took like 6-8 weeks. Severos stops, customs, etc

He told me that vehicles that were supposed to be build in January, now are pushed back to April with estimated delivery date of June to July. Take it as a grain of salt. Not sure 100% as lotus has been silent about it thus far

Has anyone's dealer actually communicated with them about these ~3 month delays? It seems like Gator was the only one to officially send something out to customers. Or maybe my dealer just gets his news from me and assumes that if they know, then I already do too. :ROFLMAO:
Has anyone put 2 & 2 together and realized that Lotus is actually out of business? There’s no one minding the store to send communications out, even the interns have gone home!

I did hear from actual Lotus, and not the dealer networks. Although I did hear from them as well.
This came after months of bitching though.

They’re posting jobs virt every day on LinkedIn. Including a Director of PR, last week. Maybe it’s a ruse.

Maybe trying to clean house? Or people resigning or getting fired. Hopefully they are adding these positions and not putting people into empty seats.

Idk how reliable but I came across this on Reddit

Production ramp up isn't looking good. So it looks like it'll take about 1.5 years to build 2000 cars from Q4 2022 through December 2023. If the estimates are accurate, V6 Base Editions aren't shipping until Q2 2024 at the earliest.

A while back I said the Electre is going to launch before the Emira as a joke, looks like it's becoming true. Lotus can some how launch a new EV SUV from scratch before ramping up production on the Emira. You can't make this stuff up.

Apples and Oranges. Emira was developed by Hethel, Eletre was developed by Geely.
