USA/Canada Delivery Thread

Big if true.
I got my VIN and the status spreadsheet for each VIN indicated most in California hadn’t even been built yet let alone shipped. I suspect there’s some logistics planning here for the West coast that had to do with shipping in regions of the United States that a.) could take delivery first with regulations and b.) could be shipped to specific ports. I don’t know historically where west coast cars got their Lotus shipments from but I’m guessing it ain’t Baltimore :)?

Help me out guys and I claim ignorance 😳

Why a carburetor certification ? Does the Toyota V6 even have a carburetor? 🤔

If your question was serious, CARB is an acronym for the California Air Resources Board certification. Basically California emissions certification which is now become a requirement in many states.

Beat me to it!

Does this mean they got CARB approval? This certainly sounds like they are implying it.

Just received that same email. First email from Lotus about an/my Emira in forever!

Also, funny that the email says "is almost here" when I visited it this week. It's actually here.
