One other snippet from CC today I forgot to mention. I was told an email will be going out next week about booking test drives, with early depositors being given priority. Count me as skeptical since demo cars have been 'imminent' for the last couple of months, but fingers crossed.

Still no call from CS - I just assumed having received my "protect" email earlier today, it meant I would now get my car November/December... Seems from reading all the posts that may not be correct!?!

Just a call is all I need to let me know and no idea why I've not been contacted. And I feel even more of an idiot for putting a very early deposit down on the Eletre! Certainly no favouritism from Lotus having 2x cars on order.

Could this be a good alternative? - seems a bit expensive but I'm starting to go mad with all this!

Yeah good call… not sure I want a drive back from hethel in Jan anyway as my first go in the car! Too much opportunity for unwanted mischief.

Picked up my new M3 and immediately got lost in Newcastle… ended up in one of those horrid corkscrew ramps into a car park. Kerbed the alloys within 20 mins of having the car!

That email for me was followed up with the "we will call you email" the following day, but for some it was sooner. THen the phone call maybe the same day. THey have about 150 people to email individually and call, so dont lose heart, you are still in with a chance for December, but more likely January delivery perhaps.

101 from a dealer, is there or there abouts correct I'd say...maybe waiting you will get one for 5k less or so, but private or none porsche dealer.....

Just imagine how long the delay to an I4 FE will be now we have nearly all been moved to next year.

I asked and they told me they aren't even at the planning stage yet. First deliveries Q2 23 but planning will follow the first batch whatever that means. They said my deposit was 'very early' that was was 7th July. I almost certain I will keep my Alpine but seen as I have waited this long will test drive the V6 first.

Newcastle not far from me - oh never I think I’d of been crying - I rarely rarely let my other half drive MY car, curbed alloys are my pet hate - ex hubby curbed my wheel suffice to say it was traumatic

Had you previously been given a build month? I thought they’d only scheduled for Oct/Nov/Dec. 10 July would put you 1000+ cars behind the folks being contacted today.

They aren’t outbound calling people today, except the initial 25 who were previously Sept build. The people posting about timing updates have contacted LCC themselves rather than wait for the call.

At least you’re “only” delayed another 1 month. Mines +2 months - keeps getting further away.

At this pace, It looks like we might do break in on the Isle of Man

I got the delay email, no call received today but I did send an email to customer care asking for any updates. No reply as yet. Checkout was completed on the 17th so hopefully on for Nov delivery
