Looks like that's another batched email and still has no details on delivery dates. "In the coming days" is the new "soon".

I got both the Enhance/Protect and the Expect a Call emails half an hour apart this lunchtime.

Was briefly one of the September Nine but last official estimate said October.

23 June 2021 pre-reveal deposit.

Let’s see how long it takes for the phone call, but I’m not getting excited yet.

Picked up my new M3 and immediately got lost in Newcastle… ended up in one of those horrid corkscrew ramps into a car park. Kerbed the alloys within 20 mins of having the car!

I know what you mean, it is nearly 200 miles for me from Hethel. So not doing that. I am getting nervous enough about driving the 95 miles from Silverstone.

Still no call from CS - I just assumed having received my "protect" email earlier today, it meant I would now get my car November/December... Seems from reading all the posts that may not be correct!?!

Just a call is all I need to let me know and no idea why I've not been contacted. And I feel even more of an idiot for putting a very early deposit down on the Eletre! Certainly no favouritism from Lotus having 2x cars on order.

Could this be a good alternative? - seems a bit expensive but I'm starting to go mad with all this!

actually it was a blessing in disguise - I immediately [well perhaps after a few days of seething at myself for being such a dumb ass!] lost all the prissy inhibition that can come with a new car and just enjoyed it!

I got two. The protect one and also the “we will call you in a few days” one, which doesn’t actually say anything positive, just that they will call me. Perhaps to deliver bad news!

I got my call late this afternoon to be fair. It was not from the number in the email which I’d added to my contacts after getting the email just in case.

I was told I’d receive my November delivery in December now. Not too bad and not worth all the drama if they’d just communicated that earlier.

I had a call about confirming my identity, yesterday (following checkout process) but no update on delivery

Called CS and they have confirmed that my original dealer deposit date of 11th March 2021 is on the file, so can only assume the auto is the issue.

Last comms from Lotus was Oct build/Nov Del, and I don't mind it going into new year, but I won't be getting my 10th Lotus if they can't confirm soon and will be raiding the piggy bank for a Vantage F1

I asked if RRP and Finance pricing would be held, but the couldn't guarantee anything. Not sure actually they knew anything either way.
Also asked about test drives and was told these are imminent, with cars to dealers early November and invites from Lotus going out in next 2 weeks. Asked about priority as was worried I wouldn't be able to try a car before having to check out and was told it should be in priority order as per these upsate phone calls which are done in batches based on deposit date

Yes Leonard, i got the same call yesterday. Whether we will actually get a December delivery remains to be seen, as in their words, subject to change.
