I think Lotus need to get a move on with getting these cars out to customers. Time is running out as no petrol or diesel cars can be sold after 2030. Well, I mean, in my case, I was told March 2022, now October. Can I drive your M3 whilst you are cooling off?
Or..... We are somewhat confident and genuinely certain that soon anything that can change will in all likelihood be subject to further change, as far as we know at this present time, to the best of our knowledge. And asking again will not change anything.. Yet we are of the feeling you will be ultimately pleased. So they’re “confident” but these are still estimates and “subject to change”.
Maybe, but which year? Any "estimates" anyone?“Autumn” perhaps?
More pounce to the ounce."It's called Sex Panther by Odeon. It's made with bits of real panther, so you know it's good. They've done studies, you know. Sixty percent of the time, it works every time."

So does this mean that we are as much in the dark as we were before this dribble from Lotus? So they’re “confident” but these are still estimates and “subject to change”.
You can now it’s rainingCan I drive your M3 whilst you are cooling off?
So if October is actually November I’ll think I’ll push it out and change my calliper colour to yellow - that will certainly put them in a complete spin who knows when I get the car then. This test drive will have to be absolutely Fabulous or I’m out as Lotus has 70% checked me out now as a CompanyOh so now it's 'around October time'
We’re still in the dark. It’s unclear whether dawn is approaching, or it’s just after dusk, or they’ve just put a blindfold on us and it’s actually daytime. So does this mean that we are as much in the dark as we were before this dribble from Lotus?
Remember the wet school runs in my old m4, kids used to call it Tokyo driftYou can now it’s raining
I guess we can guess the answer to that. At best guess, first week of Sept for the call, but I still have a feeling (I guess) that virtually no one will get their car in October and in fact some/most of the actual dealers will be getting demos in September and not August by the looks of it as they are looking late too.>Considering we’re 18th August do the September deliveries still not know their exact dates yet ?
How on earth did you fall into the October build category, Tom?There are no September deliveries. First customer cars are Sept build for Oct delivery.
My thoughts exactly, rather frustrating...Lotus can't tell me why! I suspect it's because I optioned Homelink, as a lot of others with it have been pushed into Month 2. But a few people in Month 1 do have it and have later deposits then me. It makes no sense.
A lot of the 120 people with pre-reveal deposits have been delayed two months into Month 2, with nothing unique about specs and with no explanation from Lotus. So people with reveal/Goodwood deposits are getting cars earlier than people who placed deposits in 2020 and Q1/Q2 2021. Very poor when you consider these people had enough faith to place deposits with very little info about the car and the majority are Lotus enthusiasts rather than speculators.
Wouldn't that mean Lotus making contact with deposit holders. I thought that was against their religionConsidering we’re 18th August do the September deliveries still not know their exact dates yet ?
what wait... you had to pay a deposit? ahhhh thats why I haven't got my car yet..... the damn depositWouldn't that mean Lotus making contact with deposit holders. I thought that was against their religion
