I'm manual, a deposit 3 months before you and no enhance and protect email. It's basically a crap shoot!

Have you contacted CS? I emailed about me 'firmly locked in September build email' the other day. It may have reminded them I'm alive.

Pretty solid confirmation of delays - for reference i WAS October Build:

"We are working through the October deliveries but have not been able to complete all orders yet. Once we do complete this we will move on to the next bracket which includes your order. We are dependant on receiving the go ahead from HQ to invite customer's to checkout. We have not been able to complete as many as planned and as such there is likely to be some rescheduling. We have queried with HQ and have been advised communications will be sent soon detailing any changes to schedule. My best estimate on based on the current status would be that your order will still proceed this year but may be later in November or potentially from December. Your checkout invitiation will be sent around 30 days prior to your potential handover."

I thought my 5th October 2019 deposit would put me as an early deposit holder, but still no email.

I understand the enhance and protect email is no longer sent out as a prerequisite for checkout. I'm told we'll just receive a checkout email when our cars are ~75% through production, about 30 days before delivery.

Oh my days this will be circa 5 different dates we have been given none of which honoured. Did we really think we were going to get our cars this time lol. For me Deffo bump into 24 and have a 2024 v’s 2023.
Do I recall you saying any more delays you were going to bail ……

I wonder why delivery takes so long? If the e.mail is triggered at 75% through production, the remaining 25% surely only takes another poduction day maximum (assuming all required parts available), the car has to be taken to Oxford for PDI, so say a half day for transport. No idea how long PDI takes, but say another day (being generous), so that is two and a half days. Even doubling all that for contingency and good measure that is only 5 days, so what happens on the unaccounted for 25 days?
Surely, their process can't be so hopelessly inefficient, but perhaps it is.

Just had a chat with Lotus Customer Services, apparently, my car is definitely being built next week and I can expect an email next week. Delivery is expected to be mid November.
